What do you love most about your role?

I’m thrilled to lead such a committed and caring team at Tenterfield Care. Everyone at Haddington and Millrace is focussed on providing high-quality care for residents, and they go above and beyond to support them to continue doing the things they love. I feel privileged that my role entails many daily opportunities to engage with the residents, listen to their perspectives and hear their personal stories. This is always a highlight for me.

What makes Tenterfield Care so special?

Tenterfield Care has been an integral part of this region for decades, and it’s easy to see why. Haddington and Millrace are welcoming, supportive and engaging communities and the connection between residents, staff and families is remarkable. I’m very motivated to be able to use my experience to continue to grow this valued service in this lovely country town.

Are you excited about the future of Tenterfield Care?

The opening of the two new Households at Haddington marks a significant growth milestone for Tenterfield Care. The whole local community has been behind this initiative, and we are all delighted to see it come to fruition. It means we’ll be able to welcome another 28 residents who can stay living locally in the town they call home. Plus, as the largest employer in Tenterfield, this expansion means we can offer even more career opportunities to locals.

How is Apollo Care supporting your team?

Our team is supported each day by industry experts across all aspects of our communities, from care governance and accreditation, food service and culture, through to HR and rostering. Apollo Care’s investment in the latest technology and their advanced systems is further strengthening our resident-first approach to care and ensuring we have a bright future ahead.
