HADDINGTON NURSING HOME

  • Modern Facilities

    Haddington is located at 126 Duncan St and has accommodation for 46 residents. Two single rooms of 13sqm share a common bathroom and vestibule area with vinyl flooring, large sliding doors and floor to ceiling windows gives you views overlooking the town, streets and courtyards, they are well maintained with electric high low beds and adequate furniture and storage areas. Fully furnished large common dining room and attached activities area of approximately 210sqm cater for all residents, with accessibility for residents with mobility aids and overlooks a beautifully kept enclosed internal courtyard on one side and a barbecue area with water feature on the other. A carpeted quiet room approximately 41sqm has an attached library and there is a hair salon for residents.

  • Dementia Care

    North wing provides care for 8 dementia residents in a secured and monitored environment that also has access to a secured outdoor garden area with pergola and “yellow brick road” walkway. There is also a lounge/dining area approximately 55sqm with an attached kitchenette. All areas are well maintained with vinyl flooring. The south wing lounge with magnificent views overlooking the town, 30sqm has a tea room, is carpeted with ample seating and tables and a small library.

MILLRACE HOSTEL

  • Facilities that feel like Home

    Millrace caters to the residents who require limited nursing care at 422 Rouse St Tenterfield and has accommodation for 35 permanent residents and 1 respite resident. The single rooms are approximately 21sqm have a private ensuite, are carpeted, well maintained and have adequate furniture and storage. All rooms have large glass sliding doors and floor to ceiling windows. These are four lounge areas of approximately 40sqm, three of which have attached kitchenettes with ample seating.

  • Beautiful Gardens

    All lounge areas have TV facilities and ceiling fans. There is also a fully furnished large common dining area. There is an underfloor heating throughout and a wood fire in the lounge room gives a homelike atmosphere. A large outdoor barbecue area is available for resident and family use. Well maintained gardens and parkland with large deciduous trees and water feature is perfect for observing the permanent wildlife.
